VANCITY TRAINING CAMP/KELSEY LARG PERSONAL TRAINING WILL INFORM YOU SHOULD ANY OF OUR CLIENTS/STAFF CONTRACT COVID-19. THIS IS DONE BASED ON INFORMATION PROVIDED BY OUR GUESTS VOLUNTARILY AND UNDER REGULATION BY THE CANADIAN GOVERNMENT. YOUR PRIVACY IS IMPORTANT TO US

The purpose of this privacy policy (this "Privacy Policy") is to inform users of our Site of the following:

  3. Filling out and signing waiver form

 

Additional data collected from waiver and PAR-Q form includes (this data is confidential and private between personal trainer/coach and client/guest)

  1. Any injuries or health conditions that can impact fitness

  2. Any personal health related information client choo to share while filling out the PAR-Q and signing waiver form (e.g. injuries, medications, vitamin deficiency etc.)

  3. Programming from Group Training and Personal Training may be added to account with notes based on form, weights used and recommendations.

 

HOW WE USE PERSONAL DATA

Data collected on our Site will only be used for the purposes specified in this Privacy Policy or indicated on the relevant pages of our Site. We will not use your data beyond what we disclose in this Privacy Policy.

 

The data we collect automatically is used for the following purposes:

  2. Maintain and Increase site function.

 

The data we collect when the user performs certain functions may be used for the following purposes:

 

  1. Communication.

  2. Promotion of services, offers, updates etc.

Vancitytrainingcamp.ca uses Google Analytics. Google Analytics uses cookies to process and collect data https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites?hl=en-GB&gl=uk. Vancitytrainingcamp.ca is only using this data for the purpose of statistics, and to maintain or increase site function.

Wix Apps—Wix apps such as the fitness app or any other application related to the website complies with the privacy policy and terms and conditions as written.

 

Employees

We may disclose user data to any member of our organization who reasonably needs access to user data to achieve the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

HOW LONG WE STORE PERSONAL DATA

 

User data will be stored until the purpose the data was collected for has been achieved. You will be notified if your data is kept for longer than this period.

 

HOW WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA

 

To protect your security, we use the strongest available browser encryption and store all of our data on servers in secure facilities. All data is only accessible to our employees or subcontractors. Our employees and subcontractors are bound by strict confidentiality agreements and a breach of this agreement would result in the employee's termination.

 

Vancitytrainingcamp.ca has been created using Wix. Wix platforms utilizes HTTPS- a security protocol for site security. This protection is validated by an SSL certificate. All Wix sites have been enabled for HTTPS.  

 

While we take all reasonable precautions to ensure that user data is secure and that users are protected, there always remains the risk of harm. The Internet as a whole can be insecure at times and therefore, we are unable to guarantee the security of user data beyond what is reasonably practical.

 

PAYMENTS

Payments through vancitytrainingcamp.ca are made through Wix using STRIPE. Wix Payments complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. To accomplish this, we use the best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security at Stripe. All card numbers are encrypted at rest with AES-256. Decryption keys are stored on separate machines. None of Stripe’s internal servers and daemons can obtain plaintext card numbers but can request that cards are sent to a service provider on a static allowlist. Stripe’s infrastructure for storing, decrypting, and transmitting card numbers runs in a separate hosting environment, and doesn’t share any credentials with Stripe’s primary services (API, website, etc.)

 

CHILDREN

We do not knowingly collect or use personal data from children under 13 years of age. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 years of age, the personal data will be deleted as soon as possible. If a child under 13 years of age has provided us with personal data, their parent or guardian may contact our privacy officer.
